Before you put that wonderfully creative costume in the closet for the year, check out the Charlotte area's inaugural Season of Hope Fall Run on Saturday, November 3 at the Charlotte Knight's Baseball Stadium in Fort Mill, SC (2280 Deerfield Dr.). This will be a fun, family-friendly event featuring a 5K professionally timed race ($25.00, starting at 8 a.m.) and a 1K Fun Run ($10.00, starting at 9 a.m.). 100% of race proceeds will benefit Tyler's Hope for a Dystonia Cure, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization committed to funding pediatric neurology research to prevent and cure DYT1 dystonia (www.tylershope.org). The race is at Knights Stadium and runners finish by crossing home plate. Participants and spectators may join in the festive atmosphere of this race by wearing their Halloween costume or just come dressed as an Olympic runner!
