From contemporary portraits to abstracts expressionism, students will work on their personal art projects at their own pace. Emphasis is placed on sighting skills, composition and drawing techniques, painting method (creating light, volume, depth and texture), as well as developing the student's originality and creative development. The instructor's commitment to personal artistic style and self-expression is supported with one-on-one attention, critiques, demonstrations and references.
Paintings will be canvas/wood and oil/acrylic. A $40 material fee is payable to the instructor.
