Alana Burkett, North County Transit District, will discuss NCTD services such as the Breeze bus, Sprinter, Coaster, and LIFT paratransit. Also programs such as Mobility Management, Transit Buddy and Mobility/Travel Training will be addressed. The Mobility Management Program strives to positively impact the quality of life older adults residing in North Coastal and North Inland regions of San Diego County. The NCTD Transit Buddy program is a personal introduction for active seniors (60+) to North County's transit system -- BREEZE buses, SPRINTER and COASTER trains -- through the assistance of trained and qualified Transit Buddy volunteers. The Mobility/Travel Training program is one-on-one training for individuals with disabilities and paratransit participants.
