Greensburg, PA – Do not miss Top Hats 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend Friday, April 5th – Sunday, April 7th. If you are an alumni or family member of a Top Hat we want you to be part of the excitement. Dust off your old dance shoes, get those batons out of the closet and contact other alumni to take that stage one more time. Top Hats alumni will be performing at the Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association (TRWEA) Championship Show on Saturday April 6, 2013 at Hempfield Field House in Greensburg, PA. Rehearsal will be held Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. A celebratory luncheon will be held on Sunday at Ferrante’s Lakeview in Greensburg for all Alumni, family and friends. Accommodations are reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott in Greensburg. “This is such an exciting time for the Top Hats: We are honored to host the TRWEA Championship competition on the same year that we are celebrating 50 wonderful years of performance!” said Paula Sikorski, Director of Top Hats. TRWEA Winter Guard Championships will pull in spectators from all over Western Pennsylvania for an entire day and night of spectacular performances from over 55 units including percussion ensembles, dance teams, majorette groups and color guards. Additionally, Top Hats Alumni will be featured in live performancesproving that they still have what it takes to be called a Top Hat. Whether you are there to watch the show or participate in the performance, the event will be one to remember for years to come.
