The Phi Delta Chi Professional Pharmacy Fraternity of Wingate, University is hosting its 2nd Annual St. Jude Run For The Pig 5k. The USATF certified 5k course will route through Wingate University’s picturesque campus and surrounding wooded park and Campus Lake. After the 5K race, a pig pickin’ meal will be provided with plates of food sold to raise additional money for St. Jude, as well as an awards ceremony. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as top fundraiser and best costume! All proceeds collected will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to aid in the efforts of finding cures for childhood catastrophic diseases.
