Kobe vs. Dahntay!
You probably saw that Kobe Bryant hurt his ankle on a last-second shot; what you may have initially missed, as we did, is that the player guarding him was Dahntay Jones. A Twitter fight has ensued with Bryant saying Jones was overly aggressive and Jones countering that Bryant should have been called for a foul for kicking his leg out.
The NBA disagreed and said Jones should have been called.
What is clear to us from this is this: if you watch the video, you’ll see that Jones had his hands up in the air and was following the ball. He’s been accused of a dirty play, but in order to do something dirty, you pretty much have to see what you’re doing.
