A 35-year-old Waynesville man was seriously injured after rolling his pickup truck on Roxanna New Burlington Road late Thursday night, according to troopers.

Joshua Renfrow was travelling eastbound on Roxanna New Burlington near the intersection of Cornstalk Road around 7 p.m. when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole, Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Andrew Worchester said.

Investigation revealed Renfrow initially drove off the right side of the road, over corrected and drove off the left side of the road, troopers said.

A medical helicopter transported Renfrow to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition at 5 a.m. Friday.

Troopers said alcohol was a suspected cause of the crash.

The wreck remains under investigation.
