Alcohol is suspected in a late Tuesday rollover crash on County Road 130 near Bellfontaine, troopers said.

Troopers said Cody Diener, 19, of Bellfontaine, was driving south in the 1800 block of County Road 130 around 10:15 p.m. when he lost control driving around a curve. Diener’s vehicle struck a ditch on the left side of the road and overturned, coming to a stop after striking a fence.

Diener was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellfontaine with non-life threatening injuries.

One passenger, Faith Dameron, 24, of Lakeview, was ejected from her rear seat. Dameron was transported to Grant Hospital in Columbus aboard MedFlight. Her injuries are considered serious, according to troopers.

A second passenger, David Ramos, 19, of Bellfontaine, also suffered non-life injuries and was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment.

Troopers said Diener will be charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and he also will be cited for failure to control.

The crash remains under investigation by the Marysville post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
