MIDDLETOWN —
At least one person was taken to an area hospital this morning after a fire on Central Avenue in Middletown.
The fire was reported shortly after 5 a.m. at 1519 Central Ave. The building has a storefront on the first floor, and apartments on the floors above, according to reports.
Initial reports indicated two people were trapped on a second floor.
