Police are looking for the armed robber who struck the Dollar General, 6131 Brandt Pike, Friday night.

Police received an alarm that the store was being robbed at approximately 9:41 p.m.

A white male wearing a ski mask walked into the store, displayed a dark colored handgun and demanded cash, according to Sgt. Charles Taylor.

No employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. A K9 unit was used to track the suspect but as of 11:15 p.m., no arrest had been made, Taylor said.

The robber, described as husky, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 225 to 250 pounds, was last seen wearing black jeans and shoes, gray gloves and a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves.
