BEAVERCREEK —

Some sort of electrical problem is being blamed for a small fire that broke out Friday night in the attic of a home in the 4000 block of White Oak Drive.

A Dayton Power & Light crew was called to the residence to shut off the power, which means the occupants who were able to get out of the home unharmed won’t be able to stay there overnight.

Crews were dispatched to the address just before 10:20 p.m. on a report of a working structure fire. The fire was placed under control just before 11 p.m.
