Several stolen items were recovered after burglary suspects were apprehended today.

CLARK COUNTY —

A 14-year-old who stayed home sick today was able to call 911 and hide while four to five people broke into his Clark County home.

The boy stayed on the line with dispatchers and gave a description of the vehicle while he hid in his home at 2245 Seminole, according to reports. After the suspects fled the house, an unmarked Clark County sheriff cruiser spotted the vehicle in the area and initiated a pursuit.

The vehicle reportedly jumped a curve on Oakleak Avenue, which caused the trunk to open and a stolen television to fall out.

The three suspects bailed out of the car, but were caught by officers. Authorities said at least three televisions, two gaming systems and jewelry was recovered.

Police believe two more people may be involved.

The names of the suspects has not been released.
