MIAMI COUNTY —
Deputies believe a medical condition may have contributed to an accident Sunday afternoon at the Casstown Cemetery.
Miami County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Whaley said that the male driver was northbound when he ran through a traffic light and a stop sign on Casstown-Fletcher Road. Whaley said the man then crashed into the cemetery in the 8200 block.
The man was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by Careflight. His injuries are unknown.
An accident reconstructionist was called to the scene.
Whaley said the vehicle was damaged, and the crash also damaged several headstones.
