BEAVERCREEK —

Two men were arrested pending burglary charges Monday after a neighbor reported seeing them breaking into a house on Apricot Drive.

According to Beavercreek Police an eyewitness watched as one of the subjects entered a house in the 2400 block of Apricot by climbing through a back window as the other subject entered through a door at about 10 a.m. Police arrived on scene and the two subjects ran from the house.

After a short foot chase police arrested Paul Ramos, 19, of Beavercreek, and Andrew Webb, 18, of Beavercreek.

During the investigation, it was learned that the subjects were in the process of stealing electronic equipment from the victim’s house when they observed the officers approaching. According to a police report, they were attempting to steal Playstation and Xbox games along with an Xbox game system and controllers. All of the property was returned to the homeowner.

Ramos and Webb were taken to the Fairborn City Jail and are each being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Ramos’ listed address is on the same street as the burglary occurred.

According to online sports statistics, Webb and Ramos played together on the Beavercreek High School boys soccer team. They were listed as seniors in the fall of 2012.

School administrators could not be reached for comment on their arrest Tuesday.
