Demond Harris

DAYTON —

A grand jury has indicted the man accused of killing Keith Vann Moore in June.

Demond Harris was indicted on two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and two counts of having weapons under disability. The felonious assault and murder charges all carry a three-year firearm specification. Harris is being held in the Montgomery County jail in lieu of a $1 million bond. He was arrested last week when police served a warrant at 819 Steele Avenue.

Vann Moore, 25, was found shot and lying in the street near the intersection of Xenia Avenue and George Street early in the morning June 1.

Friends reported he had been at a nearby house playing video games until about 5 a.m. and they heard yelling and shots after her left.
