KETTERING —
Alcohol was believed to be a factor in a crash Wednesday night that sent one driver to a hospital.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., a Chevrolet Aveo was involved in a collision with a Jeep Wrangler and then rolled onto its top at Dorothy Lane and Wilmington Avenue.
Kettering Sgt. Jeff Perkins said the Aveo’s driver will be charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance. That driver, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The Jeep’s occupants were not injured, Perkins said.
Wilmington Avenue north was temporarily blocked because of the crash.
