DAYTON —
A man who showed up at Miami Valley Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand early Wednesday morning said he was shot while standing outside of a nightclub on Hoover Avenue.
The victim, 33-year-old Kelvin Johnson, said he was in the side parking lot of DJ’s Party Room, 4900 Hoover Ave., at about 3:30 a.m. when he heard multiple shots fired, according to a police report.
He was struck in the hand and flagged down a car full of women who drove him to the hospital.
According to the report he didn’t see who fired the shots. Police did not find any bullets or blood in the parking lot.
