The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help in identifying two suspects involved in a shooting and attempted robbery.

The sheriff’s office has released surveillance images showing two black males entering Drexel Beer & Wine, 5474 W. Third St.

The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. One suspect was wearing a mask and the other was carrying a handgun when they approached the clerk and demanded money, according to the sheriff’s office.

The clerk refused to allow them in the office and the gunman fired one shot, striking the clerk, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s Detective Brad Daugherty said the victim was not seriously injured and the suspects fled without getting any money.
