DAYTON —
A driver said he was having brake problems when he crashed into a utility pole, snapping it in half.
The crash happened at North Gettysburg Avenue and Little Richmond Road around 10 a.m. today. Police said the driver of the van swerved at the stop light to avoid hitting another car and crashed into the pole.
The driver was cited for failure to maintain control. A passenger in the vehicle complained of head pain, but was not taken to a hospital.
