Fire damages northern Miami Co. home

Firefighters from Fletcher and Casstowen responded to a house fire in the 8400 block of  East U.S. Route 36 Sunday evening.

The fire scene was located between Lena and Conover near to the Champaign County line.

The fire was in a wall of the home, according to firefighters.

There were no injuries.

A short time later Piqua Fire Department , along with mutual aid from Fletcher, responsed to a chimney fire at a home in the 2100 block of East U.S. 36. There was minor fire damage.

Also no injuries.
