MIAMI VALLEY —
It was hard to find much in the way of snow early Tuesday morning, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.
“A few flakes passed north of I-70,” she said. “But not enough to accumulate or cause problems on the roadways.”
Vrydaghs said ODOT sensors indicated dry conditions with the exception of areas southeast of Xenia in Fayette County.
“Conditions will likely improve from this point on” she said.
Vrydaghs added that cloudy skies would break closer to sunrise, with mostly sunny skies for Tuesday afternoon. But she added that much cooler weather is in store, with highs only reaching the upper 30s. She said anyone working outdoors should wear appropriate clothing.
Looking ahead, Vrydaghs said dry weather will persist through Friday with afternoon highs generally increasing each day. She said the next chance for rain arrives Friday night with a chance for showers Saturday.
