FRANKLIN —
Franklin City Schools announced Monday a partial list of the district’s Christmas concerts set for this month.
The concert schedule for the Franklin High School band has yet to be announced. Holiday events are listed below:
Elementary Concerts
(All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. in the Franklin High School auditorium.)
Tonight — Pennyroyal Elementary, directed by Kent Hollon
Tuesday — Anthony Wayne Elementary, directed by Mike Milham
Wednesday — Hunter Elementary, directed by Hollon
Thursday — Gerke Elementary, directed by Hollon
Dec. 12 — Schenck Elementary, directed by Milham
The Franklin High School Chorale Concert is set for 7 p.m. on Dec. 18 in the FHS Auditorium. The concert is to be directed by Lucinda Bires.
Franklin Junior High Band and Chorale Concert is set for 1 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the Franklin Junior High gym. Vocals are to be directed by Bires and John Mosher. The band is to be directed by Jeremy Adams.
The Franklin High School Vocal Music Department will also be singing from 7 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the Franklin-area McDonald’s, 6810 Franklin Lebanon Road. Some ensembles are scheduled to perform.
The department will also be accepting donations for its New York City trip.
