Lewisburg man killed in rollover crash

JEFFERSON TWP., Preble Co. —

State Troopers believe snow covered and icy roads are to blame for a rollover crash on U.S. 40 that killed a Lewisburg man Thursday night.

Gary Miller, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred on U.S. 40 near Oxford Gettysburg Road around 6:10 p.m., troopers said.

Troopers said Miller and his wife, Denise Miller, 53, were in the 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer when Gary Miller drove the vehicle off the left side, then back across U.S. 40 and off the right side of the road. Once off the right side of the road, the vehicle overturned, troopers said.

Denise Miller was injured in the crash and suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. for treatment, troopers said.

Troopers said Gary Miller was not wearing his seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
