Light Up Middletown will not open Wednesday night due to heavy snow.
“We do not want to endanger anyone by opening the display and encourage everyone to wait a day or so to tour,” said Flo Randall, Light Up Middletown chairwoman.
For now, the display at Smith Park in Middletown will reopen Thursday and will remain open from 6 to 10 p.m. every evening through New Year’s Eve.
Admission to Light Up Middletown is by cash donation. Donations are used to repair, replace and add to the displays and make improvements to Smith Park.
