SPRINGFIELD —
A man working at The O.S. Kelly Company early Thursday morning suffered burns while pouring liquid metal into a mold, according to police.
The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital aboard CareFlight, but his condition is not currently known.
Officers said the man was pouring liquid metal into a mold around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, when some of the metal began pouring into the victim’s boot. The metal reportedly burnt the man’s foot, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
