NEWPORT, Delaware —
An Arcanum truck driver is dead after a Thursday accident on Del. 141.
DelawareOnline.com reports that Stephen E. Webb, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene. Delaware State Police Cpl. John Day said that Webb was southbound when he pulled his semi tractor-trailer onto the east shoulder. He parked and got out.
Day said a motorist hit the back of the truck, and then hit Webb.
The accident remains under investigation.
