Dayton —
Dayton Police have shut down the left hand lane in the construction zone on East Bound Route 35 near the Smithville Road exit.
At approximately 12:15pm Wednesday afternoon, Dayton Police Dispatch scanner audio reported a 3 vehicle crash occurred. As of 12:24pm, a third medic had been dispatched.
Traffic on the East Bound lanes is backed up due to the accident.
The accident is currently under investigation.
