A Lexus crashed into a Beavercreek storage facility on Tuesday.

BEAVERCREEK —

A sudden medical condition may be responsible for a driver losing control of their vehicle on U.S. 35 Tuesday morning, shooting into the air and crashing into a storage area roughly 100 yards from the highway.

The car, a Lexus GS 400, was traveling west near the Voss auto dealership when it went airborne and landed in gravel. The vehicle hit a boat, which pushed it into other pieces of equipment in Phillips Sand and Gravel on Phillips Drive.

The driver, an unidentified 39-year-old man, was injured. The extent of his injuries are unknown.

No one else was injured as a result of the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Beavercreek Fire Department responded to the crash. Authorities said the man likely suffered a medical condition.

This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
