DAYTON —
A man told police he was robbed of cash and his iPhone early Monday while sitting in his car downtown.
He said he was in his car near the former Hammerjax Nightclub, 111 E. Fourth St., at about 2 a.m. when three men approached. One of them pointed a semi-automatic handgun at him through the open sunroof, according to a Dayton police incident report.
According to the report, one of the men got in the back seat of the victim’s car and began rummaging through the vehicle. The other two men demanded cash and his phone.
They got away with about $300 in cash. They were last seen running north on South Jefferson Street, according to police.
