The replacement of a bridge will have a section of Spinning Road closed nightly beginning Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation said Wednesday.

The roadway between Linden and Penn avenues will be closed Monday, March 25, through early Wednesday morning, March 27 to allow a contractor to raze the bridge in that area in preparation of replacing it, according to ODOT.

The closure will be in effect beginning about 7 p.m. The road is scheduled to reopen to traffic at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, according to ODOT.

ODOT says the detour during this period will be Burkhardt Avenue to Woodman Drive to Linden Avenue. Please look for the detour signs and arrow boards.

All of the work, of course, is weather permitting.
