Fire officials said a candle that was lit in a bedroom may have caused a fire to a Huber Heights home Friday morning on Menlo Way.
Officials said smoke detectors didn’t have good batteries and a fire at 6524 Menlo Way displaced the family living there Friday morning. The family will be staying with relatives.
A damage estimate was not immediately available. Officials said the family was going to try and see if its Christmas gifts there at the home were salvageable.
