A woman is suspected to survive a Sunday afternoon crash after her car flipped on a rural Preble County road.

Emergency responders from Eaton were sent to the area of 2076 Eaton-Lewisburg Road and found a sedan flipped over, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. Investigators determined the car started going off the right side of the road, the driver over corrected back towards the center lane, over corrected a second time and then flipped the car, troopers said.

The woman driving the car was wearing her seat belt, but rescuers had to cut her out of the wreckage. CareFlight transported her to Miami Valley Hospital where she is recovering from her injuries.

Troopers said speed may have contributed to the crash, and drugs and alcohol are not suspected causes of the crash.
