MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Conflicts with time are expected to prevent Cincinnati State from having a campus in Middletown until the fall.
The Middletown Journal says that engineering students were expected to complete studies in the former CG&E building by the end of April. But conflicts and the quickly approaching end of spring term may prevent this from happening.
In addition, a May inaugural event featuring Cincinnati State President O'Dell Owens is now canceled until fall, most likely in September. But Owens has told trustees that the Middletown campus remains "on target." He says the school is still reviewing financial data to reach a final agreement with Middletown leaders on creating the branch campus and renovating buildings purchased by the city for the project.
