ST. PARIS —
St. Paris police are searching for a man suspected of tying up two clerks and robbing a local store at gunpoint.
According to police, a white male, around 5’7” to 6 foot, entered the Howard’s IGA in the 300 block of West Main Street around 10 p.m. and displayed a small handgun. Two clerks inside the store were tied up, and one was able to get free and call police, according to reports.
A K-9 unit from Miami County was requested to the scene to search for the suspect.
It’s unknown what the suspect stole from the store.
