Staff Report
MIAMI TWP. —
Miami Twp. police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two women suspected of using a stolen credit card to rack up more than $3,000 in charges in one afternoon.
The suspects were captured by surveillance cameras leaving the Target store, 2300 Miamisburg Centerville Road, on July 25.
Police allege that earlier that afternoon, the suspects stole several credit cards from a woman at the Panera Bread restaurant, 2500 Miamisburg Centerville Road.
They then allegedly used those cards to buy four $500 Target gift cards. The suspect depicted in the dress then changed clothing and went to a Walmart store on Wilmington Pike and charged $1,062 to the cards, police said.
The suspects were driving a silver or gray car when they left the Target store.
Anyone with any information on these suspects should contact Detective Mike Siney at (937) 531-4062, or leave an anonymous tip by calling (937) 434-TIPS.
