Fight victim doesn’t notice stab wound

BEAVERCREEK —

A Fairborn man didn’t initially realize that he had been stabbed in a fight in Beavercreek early Wednesday morning.

The victim, 21, was reportedly involved in a fight in the 3700 block of Grant Avenue, according to Beavercreek Police.

A physical altercation broke out for an unknown reason during a party, police said. Alcohol was reportedly involved.

The victim did not realize he had suffered a stab wound to his upper torso until he returned to his Fairborn residence.

His roommate drove him to Soin Medical Center at about 5 a.m. and police were alerted.

An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
