MECHANICSBURG, Ohio —
Firefighters blame overheated electrical tape for a fire that happened under a mobile home early Monday morning on East Sandusky Street.
Mechanicsburg called in mutual aid from Urbana, North Lewisburg and Catawba to battle the flames. Firefighters said they had to cut power to the trailer.
The elderly resident was assisted by neighbors and police. She was not injured in the fire, authorities said.
Damage to the trailer and contents is estimated at $1,500.
