WARREN COUNTY —
A horse died in a fire that destroyed a large barn in Warren County.
The blaze broke out around dawn today in the 3800 block of Trovillo Road. The Salem Twp. fire chief has not yet said what sparked the fire.
A neighbor who witnessed the fire said the owner suffered minor burns attempting to save the horse. Four other horses survived.
The barn is a complete loss. The neighbor said it included a riding ring inside.
