DAYTON —

Funeral arrangements are made for a boy struck and killed on his bicycle earlier this week.

The service for Andy Cheng Li will be at 9 a.m. Monday, and visitation will occur prior to the service, beginning at 8 a.m. at Morris Sons Funeral Home on Dorothy Lane in Kettering.

Twelve-year-old Li, of Kettering, was riding his bicycle on a sidewalk just before 5 p.m. when he was struck near the parking lot at Taco Bell, 2509 S. Smithville Road. He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of death is listed as “multiple blunt force trauma” by the Montgomery County Coroner.

According to police, the boy was a student at Kettering Middle School. Police also said the woman driving the vehicle, a Hummer, is a Dayton elementary school teacher. Police have not released her name or age.

It has also not been made known if charges will be filed against the driver.
