Illegal porn tip leads to raid at home

OAKWOOD —

Electronic hardware has been seized from an Oakwood home on suspicion of illegal pornography.

A search warrant was executed Sept. 12 at the home in the 100 block of Spirea Avenue in Oakwood after law enforcement officials received a tip. The home belongs to a retired Wright State University professor, according to a Montgomery County property records search.

Items were seized and sent to a lab for analysis. Police have not said what items were taken.

Nothing has been filed or requested by the county prosecutor’s office regarding the matter.

Oakwood police said at this time they do not feel anyone is in danger.
