DAYTON —
A Dayton area man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a February traffic accident. Timothy Watson pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated vehicular assault. Investigators say Watson was trying to get away from police who weren't even chasing him. They say he had marijuana in his car and when he saw a police cruiser to took off at a high rate of speed, running a red light and slamming into a car. He hit the car with such force it tore it in half, seriously injuring a little boy and less seriously injuring his mother.
