GREENFIELD —
A teenager missing since Dec. 27, 2012 has been located.
Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester said Britni Mess, 17, of Greenfield, was found at 1:30 p.m. today in Indianapolis, Ind. She is OK and in custody. Greenfield officers are headed there to bring her back.
Hester said they will be doing an investigation, and anyone who aided Mess in getting to Indianapolis will be prosecuted.
The investigation to find Mess included the Greenfield Police Dept., BCI Missing Persons Unit, Indianapolis Metro Police and the Indiana State Police.
