ARCANUM —
Fire crews battled a flames at 617 South High Street, but the structure is considered a total loss. Arcanum Fire dispatch told News Center 7.
Just after 7:30am Saturday morning, the Arcanum Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, crews reported the back side of the structure was in flames. Assistance was request from the Pitsburg and Greenville Fire Departments.
There was an initial water supply issue, but News Center 7 was informed that it was quickly resolved.
No one was reported home at the time of the fire. The Red Cross was contacted to attend to the family.
The structure is under investigation.
