ODOT wants your input on roads

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:

AUG-SR 219-07.21, PID 88800 – ODOT proposes to replace the existing bridge carrying SR 219 (Spring Street) over Schmier Ditch in the Village of New Knoxville. The project is necessary to address the deteriorated condition of the bridge.

CHP-VAR/VAR, PID 93398 – ODOT proposes to line three culvert systems in Champaign County. Two are located on US 36 in Union Township and one is located on SR 559 in Rush Township. The project is necessary to extend the lives of the culvert systems.

MIA-SR 48-03.49, PID 87374 – ODOT proposes to rehabilitate the existing bridge carrying SR 48 over an unnamed tributary of the Stillwater River. (Miami County) The project is necessary to address the deteriorated condition of the bridge deck.

MOT-Broadway Bikeramp, PID 93748 – The City of Dayton proposes to construct a bike ramp connecting the Wolf Creek Bikeway to Broadway Street. (Montgomery County) The project is necessary to improve access to the bikeway.

Comments may be submitted by contacting the individual below. Issues the public may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Comments should be submitted by Thursday, January 31, 2013.
