MIAMISBURG —
The old Miamisburg News building burned Saturday afternoon. Montgomery County Fire dispatch duty Sargent confirmed to WHIO TV that at 1:45pm, a call of smoke showing from the building at 230 East Second Street in Miamisburg.
Fire crews arrived on scene and began to address the smoke. However the alarm was upgraded to a fire and was worked by crews accordingly.
At one point during the fire, there was a call for additional fire engines to assist. The fire was quickly knocked down and no one was reported in the building or any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
