DAYTON —
A child was struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon when police said she apparently ran into an intersection.
The 6-year-old girl was struck by a black four-door sedan at Hoover and Upland avenues when she ran into the intersection, Dayton police said.
The driver swerved to avoid the girl and did not make full impact, police said.
The child’s injuries were considered minor, but she was taken to Children’s Medical Center of Dayton as a precaution, said police.
