RICHMOND, Ind. —

A man has been arrested for committing sex acts with a child, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Terry W. Marker, 49, of the 200 block of N. 17th St. in Richmond, Ind., is charged with three counts of child molestation. The case began Dec. 11, 2012 when Child Protection Services took a report involving a female child being molested by a man known to her.

The sex acts occurred throughout 2012, and the child was younger than 12 years old at the time of the incidents, according to the affidavit.

Marker waived his miranda rights when he interviewed with police. He failed a lie detector test about the alleged incidents, according to the affidavit.

When confronted about the exam failure, he told police he inapropriately touched the girl 20 to 30 times.

Marker is in Wayne County Jail and his bond is $75,000.
