CHAMPAIGN COUNTY —
A semi-tractor trailer jack-knifed in a Champaign County intersection this afternoon.
The incident occured at Old Troy Pike and Ohio 235 around 3 p.m. Scanner traffic indicates the semi’s gas tank ruptured and leaved about 15 gallons of fuel into a nearby ditch.
A hazardous materials unit was called to the scene to assist in clean-up.
The driver was not injured. It was unclear what caused the crash.
