Detectives are piecing together information following a homicide at a Dayton apartment building.

Multiple shots had been fired and at least one fatally struck 22-year-old Todd Zachary Cummings in the back parking lot at West Riverview Terrace. Some bullets also hit windows and vehicles.

Neighbors told News Center 7 Cummings is not a resident of the apartments. Sgt. Dan Mauch with the Dayton Police Department said it is believed the suspects are also not residents there.

Police are questioning someone related to the shooting and are possibly seeking a second and possibly a third person for questioning.

There have been no names released in connection to the homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
