MIAMI TWP —

No charges have been filed against a man who fired a shot during an argument with his wife outside a Milano’s restaurant on Friday night.

According to Miami Twp. police, the man stopped at Milano’s, 9572 Springboro Pike, and asked to talk with his estranged wife outside the restaurant. She was there dining with coworkers.

When the couple’s conversation became heated, the woman’s coworkers walked outside to check on her welfare.

“There was a physical altercation of some sort and a gun was produced,” Miami Twp. Sgt. Matt Nicley said. It was not immediately clear whether the shot was fired at the woman, into the ground or the air.

Police said wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was hit by the bullet. Blood was found in the parking lot. The woman and her coworkers were not hurt, Nicley said.

The husband turned himself in to police later in the night. He was released pending a review of the evidence by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
